In the final submission, the students were expected to draw, document and represent by surveying the selected site. Based on these surveys, they were asked to create representation of the installation design. Their contribution would be a multimedia journey, speculating on possible physically interactive tools emerging from tactility, technology, material map-ping, and spatial context.

Participant Oriented (Public) Interior Installation

Situated at Casa Botter in Istanbul, the students started by meticilous surveys of these public spaces. They kept their attention on emotional and rational drivers of the installation project. Based on the data that is collected from the experience, they were to create an explanatory mapping. Through the user's fictional and sequential journey in interacting with the installation, the storyboard helps to understand the use and design process. The main decisions that stemmed from diagrams, observations and analyses.
